Hard drive shredding detailsFlash media does not shred to the same particle size as a platter, so solid-state drives and M.2 modules run through a separate disintegration pass sized for NAND. Nothing gets mixed into the HDD stream.
SSD & NVMe destruction detailsMagnetic erasure for HDDs and LTO tape where a policy or a retention schedule calls for it. Degaussed drives are physically destroyed afterwards — a degausser leaves no verifiable read-back evidence on its own.
Degaussing detailsClear and Purge sanitization for hardware that still has resale or redeployment value. Verification is logged per device, which is what keeps the remarketing credit on the table instead of shredding a fleet that was worth money.
