Network Equipment Disposal FAQs

We accept all enterprise networking gear including Cisco (Catalyst, Nexus, Meraki, ASA), Juniper (EX, MX, SRX), Aruba / HPE (CX, ProCurve, Instant On), Palo Alto Networks (PA-Series), Fortinet (FortiGate), Extreme Networks, Arista, Ubiquiti, F5, and SonicWall — switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless access points.

Yes. Modern switches, routers, and firewalls store configuration files, ACLs, VPN keys, RADIUS secrets, certificates, and routing tables in NVRAM, flash memory, and onboard SSDs. We perform a NIST 800-88 compliant configuration wipe on every device — including factory reset, NVRAM clearing, and storage sanitization — and document it on a Certificate of Destruction.

Absolutely. Recent-generation Cisco Catalyst 9000, Nexus 9000, Juniper EX/MX, Palo Alto, and Aruba CX gear retains strong resale value on the secondary market. We test, refurbish, and remarket qualifying equipment through certified channels and share the recovered value back with you.

We document every device's serial number and current SmartNet / licensing status before processing. For remarketed equipment, we work with the buyer to facilitate license transfer where supported. For destroyed equipment, we provide the serial inventory so you can deactivate licenses and close out support contracts.

Yes. We accept all networking accessories — SFP / SFP+ / QSFP transceivers, fiber patch cables, copper cabling, patch panels, rack-mount kits, and console cables. SFPs and transceivers often have strong resale value and are remarketed; bulk cabling is processed through our R2v3-certified recycling stream.
